Christian Pulisic is a two-footed, agile right winger who is also at ease playing on the left or in support of a striker. He is the cousin of Will Pulisic who plays for Austin FC and the son of Mark Pulisic who is the Assistant Manager of Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.
The 24-year-old footballer was raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he trained periodically with the neighborhood professional team Harrisburg City Islanders, now known as Penn FC, and played for the US Soccer Development Academy team PA Classics.

The majority of Pulisic’s early years were spent in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he was born. His parents, Mark and Kelley Pulisic, both participated in collegiate soccer at George Mason University, and his father also played indoor soccer professionally for the Harrisburg Heat in the 1990s before taking over as the youth and professional head coach of indoor club Detroit Ignition in the mid-2000s.
